Members of the HQCJ elected Andriy Pasichnyk as the new head of the commission with 9 votes. Mr. Pasichnyk has experience in legal practice, research and public service in the field of corruption prevention.

On Wednesday, February 7, members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine (HQCJ)  elected Andriy Pasichnyk as the new chairman of the commission. This was reported by UNN with reference to the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.

Details 

Pasichnyk's candidacy was supported by 9 votes. In addition to him, Vitaliy Hatselyuk also nominated his candidacy for the position of HQCJ head and received six votes.

On August 7, 2024, members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine elected Andriy Pasichnyk as the Head of the HQCJU

It is noted that the official has considerable experience in legal practice, scientific activity, as well as work in the civil service in the field of corruption prevention and digitalization of public administration.

He was appointed a member of the HQCJ last year in June.

In March of this year, Roman Ihnatov , the head of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, resigned at his own request. The members of the Commission granted his application.
