A spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service reported high passenger traffic at the border. Every day, about 60 thousand people leave Ukraine and the same number enter, and on weekends the number increases to 130-140 thousand.
Passenger traffic at Ukraine's borders remains high. On weekdays, about 120,000 people cross the border, with the figure divided equally: 60,000 people leaving Ukraine and 60,000 entering the country. This was stated by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a telethon, according to a correspondent of UNN.
Now the passenger traffic is quite high. On weekdays, about 120 thousand people cross the border. In terms of percentage, this figure varies 50% to 50%, i.e. 60 thousand people were leaving Ukraine and 60 thousand were entering Ukraine
He notes that on weekends, passenger traffic reaches 130-140 thousand people per day.
"While in June the majority of border crossings were recorded to leave Ukraine, due to the start of the holiday season, in July there is a certain preference for entering Ukraine," the spokesman said.
According to him, it is mostly women, children and the elderly who cross the border.
