The Coordination Headquarters has launched a section on fraudulent schemes targeting the families of prisoners of war. State institutions do not charge money for searching for or returning defenders.

To warn the families of missing military personnel, a service with data on fraudulent schemes is being launched, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported on Thursday, UNN writes.
On the official website of the Coordination Headquarters, there is a new section titled "Attention, Fraudsters." We have collected all the most common methods and schemes of fraud, analyzed them, and developed general recommendations on how to protect oneself from perpetrators
The "Attention, Fraudsters!" section will be updated and expanded as new information becomes available.
"The Coordination Headquarters emphasizes: no intermediaries can influence the exchange process or 'accelerate' the return. No government institution requires payment for searching, providing information, or facilitating the return of prisoners of war," the statement reads.
The new section contains answers to frequently asked questions, explanations of official procedures, and practical recommendations to help recognize fraudulent schemes and avoid manipulation.
