A 40-year-old Kyiv resident was selling anti-tank grenade launchers through specialized websites and sending them by mail. He was detained during a special operation, and the issue of choosing a measure of restraint is being decided.
A Kyiv resident who sold grenade launchers through Internet sites and sent them to buyers by mail has been served a notice of suspicion. This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, UNN reports.

A 40-year-old local resident was detained in Kyiv on suspicion of illegal acquisition, storage and sale of ammunition and explosive devices (Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, he set up a scheme for the illegal sale of hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers in the capital through specialized websites.
He sold an AT-4 anti-tank grenade launcher for 40 thousand hryvnias through an ad. The buyer transferred part of the money to his card, and the other part was sent by mail after receiving the goods.
Later, the offender also mailed another grenade launcher with industrially produced AT-4 anti-tank grenades to another buyer.
It is reported that as a result of the special operation, the seller was detained. He was caught red-handed in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint is being decided.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement officers are establishing the origin of the weapons and ammunition the man was selling.
