191 fights in 24 hours: what is happening in the frontline and in the Kursk region

191 battles took place on the frontline yesterday, Ukrainian defenders repelled 60 enemy assaults in the Kursk region, the enemy is also active in the Pokrovsk and Vremivsk directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of 8 a.m. on December 20, UNN reports.
The situation at the front remains difficult. The enemy, using its superiority in manpower and equipment, continues to attack our positions. According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched three missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using four missiles, as well as 65 air strikes, dropping 112 KABs. In addition, it carried out about five thousand attacks, including 162 from multiple launch rocket systems and used 2,234 kamikaze drones to defeat them.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit nine areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, four artillery pieces at firing positions, two command posts and two other important enemy targets.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions, but actively used aviation.
Ten militants' attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Lozova, Zahryzove and Kolisnykivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 17 times. They tried to break into our defense near Tverdokhlibove, Zelenyi Hai, Terny and in Serebryany forestry.
In the Siversky sector, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the areas of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka and Verkhnekamianske, repelling nine attacks in total. The enemy actively used aviation.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked once in the area of Chasovyi Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 12 attacks near the localities of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 32 aggressor's assault actions towards the settlements of Sukha Balka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachanske, Solone, Novyi Trud, Zelene and Novovasylivka.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 18 Russian attacks. The occupants were most actively trying to advance in the areas of Sontsivka, Staryi Terni, Andriivka, Kurakhove and Dachne.
On the Vremivsky direction, the enemy made 23 attacks on our positions in the areas of Uspenivka, Kostiantynopilske, Blahodatne, Neskuchne and Novodarivka.
At the Orikhivsky direction, the occupation forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces once near Novodanylivka.
Defense forces are making efforts to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory, successfully repelling four enemy offensives in the Prydniprovsky sector.
The enemy did not conduct any active hostilities in the Gulyaypilsky sector yesterday.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
"Ukrainian defense forces continue their operation in the Kursk region. Russian aviation continues to strike at their own territory. Over the past day, Russian aircraft carried out 6 air strikes, dropping 7 KABs, and the enemy fired 472 times. Ukrainian defenders repelled 60 invaders' assaults," the report says.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
