Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he had offered First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko to head the government, and expects the new Cabinet of Ministers' action program "in the near future," writes UNN.

"I offered Yulia Svyrydenko to head the government of Ukraine and significantly update its work. I expect the presentation of the new government's action program in the near future."

The President announced this following a meeting with Svyrydenko. During the meeting, according to Zelenskyy, "there was a report on the implementation of agreements with European and American partners regarding support for Ukraine, which were reached within the framework of the conference on Ukraine's recovery, which took place recently." "We must implement everything that can support the resilience of our state and society as soon as possible," he emphasized.

"We also discussed specific measures that can strengthen Ukraine's economic potential, expand support programs for Ukrainians, and scale up our own weapons production. To this end, we are beginning the transformation of the executive branch system in Ukraine," Zelenskyy explained.

Yulia Svyrydenko has been the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine since November 4, 2021.

She began her career in 2008 in the private sector. From 2015, she held leadership positions in the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, and from July to December 2018, she served as acting head of the regional state administration.
