President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed "Ukrainian long-range sanctions" against the oil refinery in Ufa for the second time and a strategic facility of the Russian military-industrial complex in the Penza region, reports UNN.

For the second time, our sanction responses to Russia's prolongation of the war have reached the oil refinery in Ufa – one of the largest Russian producers of lubricants

- wrote Zelenskyy on social media.

According to him, the distance is over 1,300 kilometers from the front line.

Also in the Penza region, our weapons reached a strategic facility of the Russian military-industrial complex, which is engaged in the development and production of components for missile armaments that the occupiers use for strikes against our cities and communities

- stated the President.

The distance to the target, he indicated, is about 600 kilometers from the front line.

"Every day our plan for the use of Ukrainian long-range sanctions is being carried out. This is entirely fair in response to everything Russia is doing against us. Peace is needed, and it is precisely this that the Russian leadership must realize. Russia must end its war. And the Russian leadership has every opportunity for this. I thank every Ukrainian soldier who ensures our long-range accuracy," Zelenskyy emphasized.

Addendum

The full-scale war has spurred Ukraine to actively develop its own weapons, from unmanned aerial and ground vehicles to missiles. Private Ukrainian companies have already announced preparations for serial production of ballistic missiles. In particular, the company Fire Point plans to complete the codification of the FP-7 missile with a range of up to 300 kilometers by the end of this year. A similar procedure must be passed for the FP-9 with a stated range of up to 900 kilometers.

Yes, Fire Point has completed preparations for the first flight tests of the FP-9 ballistic missile, reported co-founder and chief designer of the company Denys Shtilerman in an interview with the PRESSING project.

According to him, the main technical difficulty in creating the FP-9 was the lack of its own production of solid-fuel engines. The company had to build a new plant for casting such engines — due to the significant weight of the structure, a powerful mixer capable of pouring the rocket in one go is needed.

"Now all this has been done and we are waiting for the first flight in the near future," said Shtilerman.

The designer explained why the company is developing a missile with precisely such a range: "We are currently developing a ballistic missile that will be able to reach both Moscow and St. Petersburg, because Russia is such a monocentric country where everything is concentrated in one place."

He also noted that Fire Point is focusing not on complex engineering solutions with maximum mass-to-price ratio, but on mass production: "We are not chasing complex engineering solutions that will provide maximum efficiency in terms of mass-to-price ratio. No, we are chasing one thing — mass production."
