Salome Zurabishvili appealed to Europe because of the forceful suppression of pro-Western protests in Tbilisi. During the two days of protests, 150 demonstrators were detained and hundreds of people, including journalists, were injured.
Georgian president Salome Zurabishvili called on Europe to" wake up " amid the forceful suppression of pro-Western protests in Tbilisi, Reports UNN with reference to Georgia News.
"It is Europe and the European ideal that these Russian puppets purposefully and cruelly destroy on the streets of Tbilisi. Wake Up, Europe!"- the president wrote on the social network X, adding to the publication of a video of the brutal beating of one of the demonstrators by security forces on Saturday night.

The protesters resist, despite mass detentions and brutality of the security forces. In two nights, 150 demonstrators were detained in the Georgian capital, 107 – only the day before. The number of victims also went to hundreds. Among them are more than 20 media employees.
