Washington denies that it was informed of the operation in Moscow that killed General Kirillov and his aide.
Washington was not warned in advance about the alleged Ukrainian operation that killed the head of the Russian Armed Forces' radiation, chemical and biological defense troops, Igor Kirillov, and his assistant. The BBC's sources in the Security Service of Ukraine previously reported that the bombing was an operation of the special service, which considered the general "a war criminal and an absolutely legitimate target.
