The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Digital Transformation are exploring the potential launch of a service for issuing the Taxpayer Identification Number (RNOCPP) through diplomatic missions. This innovation will simplify the procedure for families with children residing outside the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is working on the possibility of issuing identification codes to Ukrainians abroad directly at diplomatic missions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on Tuesday, writes UNN.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine held an online meeting with the Ministry of Digital Transformation team led by Oleksandr Bornyakov to discuss accelerating the launch of new digital services, including the possibility of obtaining a taxpayer registration number (RNOCPP) directly through Ukraine's foreign diplomatic missions.
"Accessible consular services for Ukrainians abroad are one of my main priorities. We are working in two directions at once: increasing consular presence and maximally digitizing services so that Ukrainians do not have to wait in lines and travel unnecessary kilometers. The most important thing is for every Ukrainian abroad to feel these changes in practice: fewer lines, faster service, more online services," said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha.
The introduction of the new service, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted, "is especially relevant for Ukrainian families whose children were born abroad."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the State Tax Service, is working to make it available as soon as possible.
In parallel, it is noted, "work is underway to reduce queues for appointments at consular institutions, accordingly, additional time slots are being introduced and the electronic appointment system is being improved."
