Ukrainian troops repelled one of the most massive russian attacks in the Avdiivka sector, destroying 36 tanks, including a modern T-90, and 11 armored personnel carriers that tried to break through Ukrainian positions.

Recently, Ukrainian Defense Forces fighters repelled one of the most massive attacks in the Avdiivka sector. 36 tanks and 11 infantry fighting vehicles of the russian occupiers tried to enter the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions. This was reported by UNN with reference to the statement of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The agency emphasizes that the enemy continues to try to storm the paratroopers' positions. Artillery shelling, a large number of unmanned aerial vehicles of various types, and, of course, general military units are also involved.

Today, Sicheslav paratroopers successfully repelled 11 enemy attacks and destroyed 16 units of enemy equipment.  Soldiers of the 25th separate Sicheslav airborne brigade continue to conduct fierce combat operations in the Avdiivka sector. The fighting continues. The situation remains tense, but the paratroopers are giving a worthy fight and holding back the russian invaders' advance

The ministry also said that the occupants recently made one of the most massive attempts to storm the Ukrainian defense line in the Avdiivka sector. 

In particular, tanks, including the most modern T-90 model and infantry fighting vehicles, were used to break through our defense. Nevertheless, the paratroopers gave a powerful rebuff to the enemy.

Sicheslav's troops destroyed 15 tanks, including one T90 and 8 infantry fighting vehicles. Later, on March 30, the russians attacked with 4 tanks and two infantry fighting vehicles. Three tanks were destroyed, as well as both infantry vehicles. On March 31, 6 russian tanks and 3 infantry fighting vehicles attacked, and were completely disabled. The enemy's tanks and infantry fighting vehicles were destroyed by anti-tank weapons and fire from our armored groups, whose crews were moving to fire on direct fire
