In March 2025, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 4043 air targets, including missiles, attack and reconnaissance UAVs. Aviation of the Defense Forces struck enemy positions.
In March 2025, the air defense of the Defense Forces destroyed 4043 air targets. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Details
It is noted that the air defense, in particular, destroyed:
- 1 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile;
- 25 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles;
- 8 Kalibr cruise missiles;
- 1 Iskander-K cruise missile;
- 1 Kh-59/69 guided air missile;
- 2328 Shahed-type attack UAVs;
- 805 reconnaissance UAVs;
- 874 UAVs of other types.
It is also reported that the Air Force aviation carried out over 580 sorties in March, including:
- about 200 – for fire engagement and air support of troops;
- over 320 – for fighter aircraft cover.
In March 2025, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 412 air targets, hit command posts, logistics facilities, as well as places of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment.
In addition, the Air Force clarified that during the month, units of unmanned aerial systems of the Combined Rifle Brigade of the Air Force carried out 3429 combat sorties, of which:
- 2976 reconnaissance sorties using UAVs;
- 453 sorties for the use of drops and FPV drones.
As a result, the enemy's combat losses amounted to approximately:
- over 260 personnel;
- 88 enemy shelters and positions;
- field fuel and lubricants depot;
- 1 tank destroyed;
- 3 enemy UAV launch sites hit.

Over the week, Russia launched over 1000 attack drones, nine missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles, and 1310 guided aerial bombs at Ukraine. Kyiv expects a reaction from America, Europe, and all allies to this terror against Ukrainian people. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
