"Last night, during the repelling of an air attack on the Rostov region, more than two dozen UAVs were destroyed. Unfortunately, there were consequences on the ground. In the Taganrog Bay, two tankers were again attacked by UAVs, they received mechanical damage. There are no casualties. The crews of the tankers have been evacuated. As a result of a UAV strike, a fire broke out. On one of the vessels – the process is ongoing, on the second – the fire has been completely extinguished. Information is being clarified. In the Azov district, as a result of falling UAV debris, a reed fire broke out in a quarry far from the settlement. Fire service specialists are working. During the repelling of the air attack, UAVs were destroyed in the cities of Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, and Gukovo, as well as in the Azov, Neklinovsky, and Chertkovsky districts," wrote the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, on his Telegram channel.

Also, the Telegram channel ASTRA notes that the protective nets on the tanks of "Tvernefteprodukt" did not save the oil depot from the drone strike and fire.

Satellite images published before the attack indicate that part of the tanks of the Tver oil depot was equipped with protective nets designed to reduce the risk of being hit by drones.

Earlier, ASTRA, based on an analysis of eyewitness footage, concluded that after the night attack, it is the "Tvernefteprodukt" oil depot that is burning; the governor later confirmed this.

According to ASTRA's analysis, at least one tank in the southwestern part of the oil depot is burning at the facility.
