Two cars collide in Khmelnytsky region: a 13-year-old boy is injured

A 13-year-old boy was injured in a road accident in Khmelnytsky Oblast. Criminal proceedings have been opened for violation of traffic safety rules.
On Saturday, December 23, a road accident occurred in Khmelnytsky region, injuring a 13-year-old boy. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytsky region.
Details
It is noted that the accident occurred at about 17:40 on the Stryi-Znamianka-Izvaryne highway near the village of Letychiv.
There was a collision between a Jeep Cherokee driven by a 35-year-old resident of Kyiv region, who was leaving the territory of a gas station, and a FAW V5 driven by a 38-year-old resident of Lviv region.
Law enforcement officials also added that a 13-year-old passenger of the FAW V5 was injured in the incident. The boy was hospitalized at the Letychiv Multidisciplinary Hospital.

Investigators of the Khmelnytskyi District Police Department opened a criminal proceeding over the incident under Part 1 of Art. 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules that caused bodily harm to victims) of the of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
