Donald Trump has promised up to 20 years in prison for those involved in Tesla vandalism. The US Attorney General called the Tesla arson domestic terrorism.

US President Donald Trump has made it clear that those involved in the recent series of attacks on Tesla property owned by Elon Musk could face significant consequences. They could be sentenced to 20 years in prison, UNN writes, citing The Economist Times.

In his own social network, Truth Social, Trump warned that anyone caught "sabotaging Tesla" — whether criminals or their financial sponsors — could face up to 20 years in prison.

People caught sabotaging Tesla will have a very high chance of going to jail for up to twenty years, and that includes sponsors. We're looking for you!

- the US president wrote in a post.

Details

This stern warning comes amid a series of attacks on Tesla dealerships, charging stations and private vehicles, mainly in cities in the United States where left-wing political views are favored among the population. The White House has expressed its strong support for Musk following these attacks.

Attorney General Pam Bondi promised to continue the investigation into who might have financed these attacks and made it clear that the perpetrators will face serious consequences.

Remind

As UNN wrote earlier, eight Tesla cars burned down at a dealership in Toulouse, France, and in the United States seven Tesla charging stations were burned down. As a result, the fire caused significant damage to nearby parked cars.
