Tragic road accident in Kharkiv: driver killed, child seriously injured

On April 3, a traffic accident occurred in Kharkiv: a JEEP Cherokee and a Renault collided. The 72-year-old Renault driver died, and a boy of 12-14 years old is in serious condition in the hospital.
A terrible traffic accident occurred in Kharkiv, as a result of which the driver died, and a child who was a passenger in this car was injured. The boy, whose details are being established, was taken to the hospital in serious condition, UNN reports with reference to the Kharkiv region police.
On April 3, at about 3:00 p.m. on the highway along Ring Road in the city of Kharkiv, the driver of a JEEP Cherokee car driven by a 35-year-old driver collided with a Renault car driven by a 72-year-old driver. As a result of the accident, the latter died at the scene of the accident, and the passenger of the car, a boy who looks like he is 12-14 years old, was taken to the hospital in serious condition
It is also reported that an investigative and operational group of the Main Police Department's investigative department in the Kharkiv region was sent to the scene.
Currently, information about the tragedy has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 286 (violation of road traffic safety rules or transport operation by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
All circumstances of the traffic accident are being established by police officers.

Law enforcement officers detained a taxi driver who in Mykolaiv hit a 12-year-old girl who was crossing the roadway at a regulated pedestrian crossing.
