Border guards exposed a criminal group that smuggled illegal immigrants to Moldova for $6000 per person with a $1000 advance payment via Telegram chatbot.
In Odesa region, border guards exposed a criminal group that was smuggling offenders to Moldova. The price of such a trip cost $6000 with an advance payment of $1000. Another exposed scheme of illegal border crossing was reported by the State Border Guard Service, UNN reports.
The suspects realized their illegal intentions through a Telegram chatbot, where they posted ads for transportation services to a neighboring country. For this assistance, the offenders charged USD 6,000 per person, with an advance payment of USD 1,000.

The "clients" were delivered to the Transnistrian region of Moldova.
Law enforcement officers conducted 11 authorized searches at the defendants' residences and in their cars in Kyiv and Odesa regions. As a result, border guards and police seized equipment, a thermal imager, WI-FI routers, wiretapping devices, more than 130 cards of various Ukrainian banks, money and documents.
All participants in the criminal offense are still being identified.
According to the investigators, there are also those who are currently outside of Ukraine involved in this transaction.
