One of the world's largest graffiti without the use of paint was painted on the highest dam in Germany in the Harz Mountains. This was reported by the German edition of Bild, according to UNN.

The Rappbode Dam was built during the German Democratic Republic (GDR). On the 80-meter-high concrete wall, 11 butterflies were painted. The 40,000-square-meter painting was created by German artist Klaus Dove.
He outlined the contours of the drawing, and ten industrial climbers armed themselves with high-pressure washers and washed the wall. The washed gray concrete served as a background, and the remaining dark pieces, with wattle and daub, became a substitute for paint. They will merge with the rest of the wall again in 6-7 years.
