The Supreme Court rejected Petro Poroshenko's lawsuit to cancel the NSDC sanctions. The decision was made by a panel of five judges, two of whom expressed separate opinions.

The Supreme Court upheld the NSDC sanctions against Poroshenko

The Cassation Administrative Court within the Supreme Court did not satisfy the lawsuit of the fifth President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, regarding the cancellation of sanctions imposed by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council. The presiding judge, Olesia Radyshevska, announced this during the reading of the decision, reports UNN.

The court ruled – to deny the administrative lawsuit of Poroshenko Petro Oleksiyovych against the President of Ukraine Zelenskyy Volodymyr Oleksandrovych, with the participation of third parties who do not assert independent claims regarding the subject of the dispute, the NSDC, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, regarding the recognition as unlawful and the annulment of the Decree in the part concerning the application of sanctions

It is noted that the decision was made by a panel of five judges, with two of them expressing separate opinions.

After the decision enters into legal force, the parties will have the right to file a cassation appeal to the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court within 30 days.
