On March 20, 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the "Engels-2" airfield, destroying 96 cruise missiles intended for strikes in March-April. Significant stocks of aviation fuel were also destroyed.
On March 20, 2025, the Defense Forces of Ukraine launched a powerful strike on the "Engels-2" airfield, which belongs to the Air and Space Forces of the aggressor. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports UNN.

Thus, as a result of the attack, the enemy lost 96 cruise missiles that were designed for future missile strikes in March and April 2025. Part of the missiles were destroyed due to secondary detonation, which further weakened the combat potential of the terrorists.
In addition, the Ukrainian strike caused serious damage in another important area: significant stocks of aviation fuel were destroyed, which significantly complicates the supply of Russian military operations.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian military struck the occupiers' command post in the area of Viktorivka-Uspenivka. The command and observation post was destroyed and the commander of the 1st battalion was eliminated.
