According to Shmyhal, the meeting with American business in Washington started today with the situation in Chernihiv.

"Russia continues to kill Ukrainians, and we need more support and assistance to stop the enemy," the Prime Minister emphasized.

Shmyhal noted that it is critically important for Ukraine to cooperate with American business and implement joint projects, particularly in the defense industry.

"We already have a successful case in the energy sector with Westinghouse. We also prioritize the agricultural sector, IT, critical raw materials and logistics," the Prime Minister added.

For its part, he said, despite the war, the Ukrainian government continues to implement reforms and transform the country, in particular to attract more investors to projects in Ukraine.

In addition, Shmyhal thanked American companies for continuing to work and invest in Ukraine.

"This helps us to be resilient and continue to fight for our country," he summarized.
