DBR responded to a man's broken ribs at the regional TCC in Mykolaiv

DBR confirmed the fact that a mobilized man with broken ribs was at the Mykolaiv TCC. An investigation has been launched into the fact of exceeding authority by law enforcement officers.

The State Bureau of Investigation responded to information about violations of citizens' rights at the Mykolaiv Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, provided by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets. This was reported by UNN with reference to SBI.
Details
During the inspection by the SBI and representatives of the Ombudsman, the fact that one of the mobilized individuals had been without contact with his relatives for 18 days was confirmed.
The man was at the assembly point with bodily injuries - a rib fracture. According to him, he received these injuries from law enforcement officers during mobilization measures
Based on these facts, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated on the grounds of criminal offenses under Part 2 of Article 365 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (exceeding authority or official powers by a law enforcement officer) and Part 1 of Article 122 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional moderate severity bodily injury).
The sanction of the articles provides for imprisonment from three to five years.
Context
Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets reported the detection of possible human rights violations during an inspection of the Mykolaiv Regional TCC and SP. As a result of the inspection, six men were released who, according to preliminary data, should not have been detained.
Also among the detainees was the father of a child with a disability. Lubinets reported that during the detention of this man, a police officer allegedly kicked his son. After the incident, the condition of the boy, who has diabetes, worsened.

The leadership of one of the district TCCs in the Mykolaiv region will stand trial for illegal detention and torture of a person. TCC employees held a father of many children in a basement for 9 days, using violence. The man suffered a concussion, a broken arm, and ribs.
Earlier, UNN reported that the Ternopil District and City TCC and SP have been holding people with mental disorders and disabilities for a long time. After the intervention of Dmytro Lubinets, five people were released.
