Russian troops shelled the border of Chernihiv region 12 times during the day, causing 88 explosions. This was reported on Wednesday by the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

"During the day, Russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv region with various types of weapons in twelve cases. There were 88 explosions recorded," the regional office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said on Facebook.
As a result of the strikes on the settlement of Semenivka, it was reported that civilians died (a woman) and 1 man sustained mine-blast wounds.
Hostile attacks were recorded in three communities in Chernihiv region:
- Novhorod-Siverska community: 9 explosions (probably from a 120-mm mortar) in the area of Hai settlement.
- Semenivka community - 72 explosions:
- 7 explosions (probably from cannon artillery) in the direction of Semenivka;
- about 25 explosions from multiple rocket launchers in the area of Semenivka;
- 16 explosions (probably from a 120-mm mortar) in Yanzhulivka;
- 15 explosions (probably from cannon artillery) in the direction of Karpovychi;
- 5 explosions (probably from cannon artillery) in Liskivshchyna;
- 4 explosions (probably from cannon artillery) in Prokhreslav.
- Snovska community: 7 explosions (probably from a 120-mm mortar) in Kliusy settlement.
