"In Bashkortostan, the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant, which produces aviation fuel, was attacked. A photo from an eyewitness, blurred by ASTRA for the operator's safety, was geolocated by an ASTRA OSINT analyst," writes ASTRA.

Local authorities confirmed the attack but did not name the specific enterprise.

"Several drones were shot down over the industrial zone of Sterlitamak. Debris fell on the territory of one of the enterprises. All services are working on site, extinguishing the resulting fire. We are clarifying the details," wrote Radiy Khabirov, head of Bashkortostan, on his Telegram channel.

It is reported that employees of the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant are being evacuated after the attack.
