The High Anti-Corruption Court on June 29 chose a preventive measure for people's deputy Serhiy Kuzminykh in the form of round-the-clock house arrest. He is suspected of receiving UAH 558 thousand in undue advantage for facilitating the supply of medical equipment.

The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine on June 29 placed People's Deputy Serhiy Kuzminykh under round-the-clock house arrest. In addition, the parliamentarian was ordered to wear an electronic bracelet. UNN reports this.

The court applied a preventive measure to Kuzminykh in the form of round-the-clock house arrest.
The People's Deputy must also appear at every court summons, report any change of residence, and surrender his passports and other documents that allow travel abroad.
Context
Serhiy Kuzminykh is a People's Deputy from the Zhytomyr region. His case is related to suspicion of receiving undue advantage.
According to the investigation, the MP allegedly received UAH 558,000 in undue advantage. It concerned funds for facilitating the supply of medical equipment to a hospital in Zhytomyr.
Earlier, Kuzminykh was served a suspicion notice in this case. The proceedings are being considered by the High Anti-Corruption Court.
It should be noted that the statute of limitations in the case expires in January 2027.

If Serhiy Kuzminykh continues to fail to fulfill all his obligations to the court, the preventive measure may be changed to a stricter one.
