Pentagon reveals the real number of North Koreans sent to Kursk

The Pentagon estimates that more than 11,000 North Koreans are heading to Kursk. There is reason to believe that they may be involved in hostilities on the side of Russia.
More than 11,000 North Koreans are estimated to have been deployed to Kursk, and there are reasons to expect that they may be involved in combat operations in the war between Russia and Ukraine, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said during a briefing on November 18, UNN reports.

"Our assessment is still it's probably over 11,000 North Koreans moving into Kursk. I think last, you know, last week it was between 10 and 11,000. In terms of, you know, combat operations, you know, we're aware that they've reportedly started to engage in combat operations," Singh said.
"We have not, you know, independently confirmed that, but that being said, they're moving into Kursk for a reason. You know, we have every expectation that they would be engaging in combat operations, but I can't, you know, confirm that at this time," the Pentagon spokeswoman said.
When asked whether the US side sees more North Korean movements, Singh said that "right now, we're not." "But that doesn't rule out that that could always be a possibility of more, you know, DPRK forces being sent to help Russia," the Pentagon spokeswoman emphasized.
