He noted that international partners saw firsthand the consequences of the destruction caused by Russian aggression, and also visited the airport in Gostomel, where from the first days of the full-scale invasion there were fierce battles and the legendary Mriya plane was destroyed.
He also said that the participants visited the blown-up Romanovsky bridge in Irpen, which is called the "road of life", where in 2022 more than 40 thousand people were evacuated through it.
A new one has already been built next to it to restore communication. But there are still a lot of transport facilities that were destroyed as a result of the fighting both in Ukraine as a whole and in the Kiev region in particular. And we are in dire need of the help of our international partners. The invaders caused large-scale damage to the transport infrastructure. And this significantly complicates logistics, economic development and movement of people
