Odrex Clinic loses patients due to public scandals: StopOdrex activists publish new shocking reviews
Kyiv • UNN
The StopOdrex movement, created by patients' families and people who claim to have had negative experiences with treatment at the Odesa clinic "Odrex," continues to collect and publish new stories. Activists assert that their work in the public sphere helps to form a more complete picture – not only positive reviews about the clinic but also the experiences of patients with various treatment outcomes. According to them, this provides people with more information to make an informed and conscious decision when choosing a medical institution.

The StopOdrex activist movement, created by the families of deceased patients and people who consider themselves victims of treatment at the Odesa private clinic Odrex, continues to grow. Movement activists state that they constantly receive new stories, which they process and publish on their resources. According to activists, the goal of their work is to make public the stories of people who, after a negative experience of treatment at Odrex, were not heard, whose complaints remained without reaction, and whose reviews were simply deleted. Why the initiative's participants are not going to stop, read in the UNN material.
More and more people are sharing their negative experiences of treatment at the Odesa private clinic Odrex. These stories are collected and published by activists of the independent StopOdrex movement on their resources: in the Telegram channel and on the website.
The StopOdrex movement notes that today their resources perform not only an informational but also a social function – they become platforms where people can share their own experiences without fear of reprisal, receive support from those who have faced similar negative experiences, and finally be heard.
We continue to receive new stories almost every day. We publish all stories anonymously, because most people are afraid of pressure, physical violence, or persecution, and therefore do not want to publicly disclose their names. We also receive messages from the families of former Odrex patients who are no longer alive. These are stories of people who did not survive treatment at the clinic, although they were promised recovery. They can no longer speak for themselves, so their families tell their stories. We believe that these stories should not disappear or remain unheard
According to them, a significant part of the stories concerns not only the treatment itself, but also further communication with the clinic.
People write to us about various situations: complications after treatment, lack of explanations or simple communication from clinic doctors, incorrect diagnoses, and even so-called "money scams." In addition, many say that they previously wrote a review on Google Maps or on the clinic's social networks – but they were simply deleted. We believe that people have the right to tell their own stories and share their experiences, to warn others about what can happen. We see that many people have not talked about what happened to them at Odrex for years. Often due to fear, distrust, or the feeling that it will not change anything. But now they are writing because they do not want others to find themselves in a similar situation

Representatives of the StopOdrex movement also note that after the start of their activities, according to their observations, some patients began to approach the choice of a medical institution more carefully. At the same time, they emphasize: the goal of the initiative is not to harm the clinic, but to ensure transparency of information and the ability for people to make informed decisions.
According to activists, the publication of stories allows for a more complete picture of the medical institution – taking into account both positive and negative patient experiences.
We do not draw conclusions instead of an investigation or court. We collect and publish real stories of people. When there are more such stories, they help others better understand what they may face. But our goal is not to destroy the clinic or influence its work. We are talking about the need for objective information. And if this becomes an impetus for reviewing approaches to management, communication with patients, or the quality of medical services in the clinic – this, in our opinion, will be a positive result
Recall
UNN has already reported on the activities of the StopOdrex movement, in particular on the resumption of the website after its repeated blocking by the Odrex clinic. And also on the stories of former clinic patients, which, according to activists, most impressed the movement participants.
