More than 150 combat clashes: General Staff reports on the hottest directions at the front

During April 5, 152 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest situation is observed in the Pokrovsky, Limansky, Toretsky and Kursk directions. The enemy launched 73 air strikes.
From the night of April 05, there were 152 combat engagements on the front. UNN informs about this with reference to a message from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the hottest situation is in the Pokrovsky, Lyman, Toretsky and Kursk directions.
Today, the enemy launched 73 air strikes, dropping 106 KABs, involved 844 kamikaze drones for attacks, and carried out more than 4,100 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked once in the direction of Kamyanka.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried six times during the day to advance to our positions near the settlements of Petropavlivka, Zahryzove and Nova Kruglyakivka; Ukrainian units repelled all attacks.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 20 times in the areas of Novoegorivka, Novolyubivka, Grekivka, Novy, Katerynivka and in the direction of Zelena Dolyna. Our soldiers stopped 15 attacks by the invaders, and five more battles are still ongoing.
In the Siversky direction, the Defense Forces repelled three assault actions by enemy troops in the areas of Bilogorivka and Verkhnyokamianske.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Chasovoy Yar and Grigorivka.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 18 offensive actions on the positions of our troops in the areas of Kurdyumivka, Toretsk, Dachny, Leonidivka and Druzhba; three combat engagements are still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has tried 65 times to break into our defense in the Pokrovsky direction in the areas of the settlements of Kotlyarivka, Valentynivka, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Lisivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Novoleksandrivka and Bogdanivka; 11 combat engagements are currently ongoing. The occupiers launched air strikes with guided bombs on the areas of the settlements of Zorya and Stara Mykolaivka.
According to available information, the occupiers' losses in the direction for today amount to 292 people killed and wounded; in addition, one MT-LB tractor, four cars, four motorcycles, two satellite communication terminals and four UAV control points were destroyed
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attacks by the occupying army in the areas of the settlements of Rozlyv, Kostyantynopol and Burlatske today, and four more combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Gulyaypil direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders once in the Rivnopil area.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders successfully repelled four enemy attacks near Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky and in the direction of Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka. The settlements of Stepnohirsk and Lukyanivske were subjected to air strikes.
Two unsuccessful attempts by the enemy to reach the positions of Ukrainians were repelled by our defenders in the Pridniprovsky direction.
In the Kursk direction, 17 combat engagements took place today, two of which are still ongoing. The enemy launched 19 air strikes and dropped 21 KABs, carried out 286 artillery shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, in particular seven.

During the day of April 04, losses of the Russian army at the front amounted to 1,390 soldiers. Also, the Defense Forces destroyed 13 tanks, 67 artillery systems, 105 drones and 113 units of enemy vehicles.
