Unexpectedly, several employees of Marvel Rivals, a video game based on the Marvel universe, were arrested during a meeting in Hangzhou on money laundering charges. According to the Chinese news outlet Leifeng, CEO Xiang Lang and several other now-former employees allegedly laundered money through contracts with 28 different business partners.
There is little information, but according to media reports, NetEase (the developer of Marvel Rivals) is facing charges of money laundering in the amount of 130 million euros.

Despite the arrests and ongoing investigation, the Marvel Rivals release schedule remains unchanged.
