A 38-year-old driver of a VAZ pulled out grenades during a police stop and threatened to blow them up. After negotiations, the man surrendered two grenades and was detained and notified of suspicion.
In Dnipro, a 38-year-old man who threatened law enforcement with a grenade was detained during a police raid, UNN reports, citing the police of the Dnipro region.

According to law enforcement, on November 22, at about 16:50, patrol police stopped the driver of a VAZ for violating traffic rules. During a conversation with law enforcement officers, the 38-year-old man behaved defiantly and aggressively, then pulled out a grenade and threatened to blow it up.
After negotiations with law enforcement officers, the man handed over two grenades and was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

On November 23, investigators served the man a notice of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 345 (threat or violence against a law enforcement officer) and Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
