Russia has organized a large-scale evacuation of troops and equipment from Syria through the Hmeymim air base. A caravan of military transport aircraft and ships is being used, and emergency dismantling of equipment is underway in the port of Tartus.
To retreat from Syria, the Russians have used a caravan of military transport planes to load the remnants of troops, weapons and military equipment. The planes are flying on the route “Hmeymim - Ulyanovsk”. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

According to the Gur, several An-124 and Il-76MD aircraft are planned to fly from the Khmeimim air base on routes to the Ulyanovsk, Chkalovsky and privolzhsky airfields.
The Russian Federation also provides additional fleet facilities: in particular, in the city of Baltiysk, they ordered to prepare the cargo ship Sparta II and the large landing ship Alexander Shabalin for entry into Tartus.
