The Prime Minister announced the return of 310 thousand hectares of agricultural land after demining. Ukraine has 47 mine action operators and more than 2,200 deminers, and the government allocates UAH 3.5 billion for humanitarian demining.

310,000 hectares of agricultural land have been returned to use after being surveyed and cleared of explosive ordnance. Ukraine already has 47 mine action operators and more than 2.2 thousand sappers. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting on Friday, UNN reports.

"Regarding the demining of agricultural land. We have already surveyed, demined and returned 310 thousand hectares to use. This is an incredible job, for which we are grateful to our sappers. The state allocates UAH 3.5 billion for the humanitarian demining project. There are already 47 mine action operators and more than 2.2 thousand sappers working. There are 109 demining vehicles available, and another 68 are under contract. Our task is to return all farmers' land to use as soon as possible," Shmyhal said.
