ISW notes in its report that  pro-Russian channels are distributing a propaganda video about mobilization in Ukraine. It is of high production quality and cinematic complexity, suggesting that the video is the product of a coordinated and well-funded information operation, ISW pointed out.

The Russian opposition publications Agencies and Mediazona reported that the actors in the video are professional Russian actors who have previously starred in Russian TV shows. However, one of the actors refused to discuss his participation in the video, saying that he only starred in movies, not commercials.

As ISW notes,  the Kremlin has used high quality propaganda videos as part of centralized information operations before. But the characteristics of this latest video, according to analysts, suggest that it supports the Kremlin's broader efforts to undermine Ukrainians' trust in the government, undermine mobilization efforts, and sow discontent within the country.
