Kravchenko: The State Tax Service supports business in Kharkiv region by reducing the number of blocked tax invoices

The head of the State Tax Service, Ruslan Kravchenko, reported on how Kharkiv region's business continues to operate in the conditions of war, despite daily shelling and difficult conditions. He emphasized that entrepreneurs of the region, despite the great risks, preserve jobs, pay taxes and provide support to the military.

In particular, he reported that he had a meeting with the STS team and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, with almost 50 representatives of business, business associations and public institutions. 

During the meeting, they focused on systemic problems that affect the operation of business in the frontline territories today.

Realistic indicator of the level of tax payment

According to Kravchenko, this is one of the priority issues that is of great concern to entrepreneurs. The STS is already working on adjusting coefficients that take into account the specifics of doing business in combat conditions. This will make the average industry indicator more realistic.

According to the information, the STS has created 29 consulting centers that provide comprehensive assistance to business in this issue.

As of today, almost 10,000 entities have been removed from the category of risky ones, 266 of them in Kharkiv region. The number of blocked tax invoices as of mid-March decreased to 0.39%. And I believe that there are all grounds for reducing this indicator to 0.1-0.2%

Proposals to change the mechanism of suspension of registration of tax invoices have already been submitted to the Ministry of Finance. The directory of risk codes of taxpayers has also been updated

The head of the State Tax Service explained that in this aspect, the State Tax Service has complaints about the work of two departments - control over excise goods and work with tax debt.

Next week, structural units of the central apparatus, which deal with anti-corruption issues and ensuring departmental control, will conduct an inspection

In addition, the meeting also discussed the issue of improving the digital services of the State Tax Service.
