It is snowing in Kyiv, drivers are advised to choose a safe speed, keep a distance and avoid sudden movements. Forecasters warn of sleet and ice throughout Ukraine.
Today, April 10, Kyiv is experiencing snowfall, which is creating difficulties for drivers and pedestrians. The Kyiv Patrol Police reminded how to drive vehicles in such weather, reports UNN.

Kyiv Patrol Police recommends:
- choose a safe speed, according to weather conditions;
- keep a safe distance to have enough time to react;
- avoid sudden steering movements, rapid braking or sudden accelerations. This can lead to skidding of the car;
- if your car is equipped with a manual transmission, it is recommended to prefer engine braking.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported that on April 10, Ukraine is expected to have wet snow, rain and ice on the roads. Air temperature will range from +1 to +10 degrees, depending on the region.
