"Forecasters predict a heat wave starting this weekend and next week. We expect a sharp increase in electricity consumption. Power engineers urge consumers to use electricity sparingly, not to turn on powerful electrical appliances during morning and evening peak hours, and not to use air conditioners unless absolutely necessary," the Ministry of Energy said on social media.
Businesses are urged to actively import electricity.
"This will help the country avoid the application of schedules and restrictions," the Energy Ministry emphasized.
