Heat up to +37° expected in Ukraine over the weekend - forecasters

In Ukraine, on August 16-18, heat is forecast to reach +37° in the southern and central regions. In the west and north, short-term rains with thunderstorms are possible, while in other regions it will be mostly without precipitation.

In the next three days, August 16-18, according to weather forecasters, the weather is expected to be mostly without precipitation, with short-term rains with thunderstorms in Transcarpathia and Prykarpattia on August 16-17, and in the western regions on August 18, and in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Cherkasy regions in some places during the day.
Wind of variable directions, 3-8 m/s.
Temperatures will be 10-16° at night, 15-20° in the west and south, and up to 23° on the seaside on August 18; 24-29° tomorrow, up to 33° in the southwest, and 28-34° in most regions over the weekend.
"In the southern, central, and Chernivtsi regions (at the weekend - ed.), the heat is 35-37° in some places," the forecasters said.
