In the resort village of Zatoka, an unknown person beat a serviceman with a metal stick for asking to turn off Russian music. The victim was hospitalized, and the police opened criminal proceedings.

Police have initiated criminal proceedings over the beating of a serviceman that occurred at a recreation center in the resort town of Zatoka. The victim was hospitalized with bodily injuries. This was reported by the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Odesa Region.

Police have initiated criminal proceedings over the beating of a military serviceman. The incident occurred last week in the evening at a recreation center in the resort town of Zatoka.
It has been preliminarily established that during a conflict that arose between the serviceman and another vacationer, the latter rushed into a fight and beat the serviceman on the head with a metal stick. The victim sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized
In connection with this incident, police have initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 122 (intentional moderate severity bodily injury) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. According to preliminary data, the nature of the bodily injuries and the degree of their severity will be determined by forensic medical experts.
At the same time, according to local media, on July 4, in Zatoka on the territory of a hotel, an unknown man brutally beat an active-duty serviceman and ATO veteran Serhiy Pihura because the latter asked to turn off Russian music. This was allegedly reported by the victim's wife. After the remark, the attacker hit the serviceman with an electric stove, and then with a metal rebar. In addition, he then began to strangle him. According to available data, the couple's two young children witnessed all the events. The woman claims that the attacker had previously been involved in criminal proceedings.
Currently, according to police information, a pre-trial investigation into the incident is ongoing, and all circumstances are being established.
