It is noted that a residential building in the village of Pesochin caught fire on the morning of November 14. Firefighters found the bodies of five dead people in the Ashes: four siblings aged 4 to 9 years and their 52-year-old grandfather. Among all those who were in the house, only a 16-year-old boy survived.
According to the investigation, the defendant, who is the mother of four boys, on November 9 left the children to her 52-year-old father, who was ill for a long time, and to her 16-year-old brother. On that day, the woman went on "her own business", but never returned. As a result of malicious failure to fulfill her parental duties to care for young children, including leaving them without any supervision, frivolity and indifference to their fate, serious consequences occurred in the form of the death of her sons, who were in the House,
The investigation found that the fire probably occurred due to the operation of electric heaters.
A 29-year-old woman was charged with malicious failure to fulfill her statutory duties to care for children, which entailed serious consequences (article 166 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
