Kyiv • UNN
In June 2026, Ukraine struck 11 Russian oil refineries and 8 military enterprises. The Ministry of Defense reported the systematic destruction of strategic facilities of the Russian Federation.

During June 2026, 11 Russian oil refineries, 7 fuel logistics facilities, 8 military plants, space communication centers, ships, and ferries were struck. This was reported by UNN citing the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Details
Strikes were carried out across territory from occupied Crimea and Krasnodar Krai to Western Siberia. In particular, the following were hit:
- Tyumen Oil Refinery (Antipinsky), 2,000 km from Ukraine — its capacity is 7.5–9 million tons of oil per year. The enterprise produces petroleum products for the needs of the Russian army;
- Moscow Oil Refinery, 500 km from Ukraine — the refinery has suspended oil processing for an indefinite period;
- Ufa refineries Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim and Bashneft-Novoyl, Ufa, ~1,500 km from Ukraine. These plants not only supply fuel to a significant part of the Volga region but also deliver to other regions of Russia. They also support the needs of the Russian occupation army in Ukraine;
- Orenburg Gas Processing Plant, > 1,200 km from Ukraine — this plant extracts gas to obtain helium and ethane, which are critical for rocket technologies and aviation;
- Refineries TANECO and TAIF-NK, Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan, ~1,200 km from Ukraine. The largest oil refining complexes in the region, with a design capacity of over 16 million tons of oil per year, were struck.
The degradation of the oil refining industry and the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation directly reduces the aggressor's military-economic potential. The systematic destruction of Russia's strategic facilities is an effective tool for putting pressure on its military machine
