In the temporarily occupied Crimea, on the night of June 20, after a drone attack, the Tavriyska Thermal Power Plant near Simferopol caught fire. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind," writes UNN.

According to the channel, the fire on the territory of the power plant has been ongoing since midnight. Local residents reported a series of explosions, as well as power outages in a number of settlements near Simferopol. In particular, the lights went out along the Yalta highway and in the Dobrovskaya Valley.
In Bakhchysarai, according to eyewitnesses, at least 13 explosions occurred within an hour, and gunfire from Russian air defense was heard over Simferopol. New attacks on the Tavriyska Thermal Power Plant were also reported at intervals of 10-15 minutes.
According to "Crimean Wind," the fire at the facility continues, and a thick plume of smoke is visible over the Stroganivka area. The channel's authors suggest that a fuel tank may have been hit as a result of the strike. There is currently no official confirmation of this information.
