Ukraine's minimum wage rises to UAH 7100 from January 1 and UAH 8000 from April 1, affecting taxes and social contributions.

У accordance with the law on the state budget for 2024, this year the minimum wage will increase twice this year, UNN reports.

The minimum salary from January 1 is UAH 7100 (+ UAH 400), and from April 1 it will increase to UAH 8000 (+ UAH 900).

In the hourly rate: from January 1 - 42.6 UAH, from April 1 - 48 UAH (in 2023 - 40.46 UAH).

It should be added that the size of the of the minimum wage will affect the unified social tax. Thus, from January 1 it will be UAH 1,562, and from April 1, it will be UAH 1,760. Personal income tax will also increase: from January 1 - UAH 1,278, and from April 1 - UAH 1,440, and the military fee: UAH 106.5 and UAH 120 respectively.
