Details
In February of this year, operatives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Security Service of Ukraine liquidated a large-scale scheme of evading mobilization in one of the city district courts of Odesa region.
Among the defendants in the case were the head of the court, two judges, the deputy head of his office, as well as lawyers and other persons. They are suspected of helping evaders.
According to the investigation, the judges made knowingly falsified decisions that allowed evaders to go abroad under the pretext of sole care for a child.
The cost of the "service" was 3.5 thousand dollars per conscript. On February 26, 2025, the High Anti-Corruption Court, at the request of NABU detectives, applied a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of 3 million hryvnias to the organizer of the crime, namely the head of the court.
