The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, said that he had suspended the decision of the Kyiv City Council on changes in the powers of the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, through the court. Tkachenko wrote about this in his Telegram channel, reports UNN.

Details

The decision of the Kyiv City Council to expand Klitschko's powers has been suspended by the court, and the court is studying its legality. I personally filed the lawsuit. I am reporting this directly and transparently. There will be no backstage dealings, as they are used to. But there will be law

- Tkachenko wrote.

Context

On April 3, the Kyiv City Council approved a draft decision according to which the implementation of the powers of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council, which is the Kyiv City State Administration, took place only with the signature of the city mayor.

Under martial law, the implementation of the powers of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council, granted in accordance with the law "On Local Self-Government in Ukraine", other legislative acts, decisions of the Kyiv City Council as a local self-government body, is carried out by issuing orders of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) signed by the Kyiv City Mayor

At the same time, Tkachenko stated that Klitschko was pushing through a decision that deprives the Kyiv City Military Administration of the right to issue orders - and transfers this right to himself.

Vitaliy Volodymyrovich, only the one who appointed him there can take away the powers of the head of the military administration during martial law. And not the one who forgot that Kyiv is not a private company
