Ukraine has experienced a significant boost in its book industry: book circulation has increased by 203%, and 270 new publishing entities were added to the State Register in 2023.

During the year  , the number of publishing entities increased. of the publishing industry: 302 were entered in the State Register, including 270 new ones. Also, the total circulation of books increased significantly The total circulation of book products increased significantly compared to 2002, in particular - the number of printed books. This was reported by UNN with reference to information from the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

According to of the State Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting, in 2023, the the State Register of Publishers, Manufacturers and Distributors of Publishing 302 publishing entities were included in the State Register of Publishers, Manufacturers and Distributors. According to the ICIP, 270 of them are are new, and 32 entities have renewed their certificates.

In 2022, there were 152 entities; in  pre-war In 2021, 293 publishing entities were included in the State Register.

According to the Book Chamber of Ukraine, in 2023, the output of of book products increased. Compared to 2022, the number of publications (printed units) by 73% and by 203% in terms of circulation.

It also says that in 2023, the following were 5 certificates were revoked due to the termination of publishers' activities. Thus, over the 23 years of keeping the State Register, a total of 1216 certificates have been revoked.
