Bluesky updated the search page and the list of emojis in private messages

The Bluesky social network has updated the search page and reaction emojis in private messages. The search has been replaced with Explore, and now the page lists the most popular trends and suggests other accounts to follow.

It is reported that Bluesky is being updated to version 1.100, and the developers have introduced a package of related innovations. The search page is now called "Explore", where users will find popular topics, accounts suggested for tracking, and starter packages to quickly get started with the application.

The updated Explore start page still allows you to search from the top. But now the first thing contributors see under the search bar is a list of top trends, which may have a tag highlighting how "hot" or "new" the topic is.

There is also a shortcut at the top of the page to edit the interests that will determine what the user sees on the overview page, but this option can be hidden or changed later in the "settings" > "Content and media" menu.

The chat functionality has also changed somewhat. Now, when receiving a private message, the user can select an emoji to react to it. The function looks and works similarly to many other messengers.

Previously, the drop-down menu in the chat with the functions of translation, copying or deleting opened at the bottom of the screen. Now these options appear under the message if you press and hold it.
