As part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, two Ukrainians were rescued: a 19-year-old girl and a 23-year-old boy with hearing impairments. Their families were unable to leave the occupation on their own.
Ukraine managed to rescue a 19-year-old girl and a 23-year-old boy with hearing impairments from the temporarily occupied territory. This was announced by the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, reports UNN.
As part of the initiative of the President of Ukraine Bring Kids Back UA, it was possible to rescue two young Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied territory - a 19-year-old girl and a 23-year-old boy with a disability
He noted that the girl and her mother had worked on the land all their lives, growing vegetables, but after the occupation, their farm was destroyed by the Russian military.
The family was left without their main source of income and could not leave on their own. The boy with a hearing impairment found himself under occupation at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. His father had been looking for a way to take his son to safety for a long time, and eventually he succeeded

As part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, it was possible to return 11 more Ukrainian children. Among those rescued are brothers whose father died because of his pro-Ukrainian stance, and a pregnant woman with a child.
