6 missing persons are being searched for under the rubble of a multi-story building in Kyiv after a Russian strike, with periodic moments of silence declared, Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Thursday, writes UNN.

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko is at the site of the aftermath of the enemy strike on a residential building in the Darnytskyi district of the capital, coordinating the progress of rescue operations.
He reported that the total number of fatalities in Kyiv has increased to 13 people.
"At this location, the death of 1 person has been confirmed, but there is information about at least 6 more missing persons," the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
Thanks to the rescue operation by the State Emergency Service, 7 people have been freed from under the rubble. A total of 17 people have been rescued at this location.
The Minister said that "moments of silence are periodically declared to hear signals from people who may be under the rubble." Special equipment is being used – vibrophones, which can detect even a heartbeat.
