The invaders fired 37 times at the border areas of Sumy region, causing 126 explosions. The attacks included artillery, mortar shelling, air strikes and the use of FPV drones in 12 communities.

Occupants shelled Sumy region 27 times over the last day, causing 122 explosions. Two civilians were wounded as a result of the attack on Novoslobidska community.

Russian troops hit a kindergarten in Zolochiv, Kharkiv region, damaging the building. As a result of shelling a bus in Dergachiv TG, 7 civilian men aged 19 to 50 were wounded.

Over the past day, Russian troops attacked 10 localities in Zaporizhzhia region, launching 408 attacks. The shelling resulted in one person being wounded and damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.

No one was killed or injured as a result of two rockets striking Kharkiv, Mayor Igor Terekhov said.

Russian troops shelled Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs and MLRS. 71-year-old woman was killed and a man was wounded.

Terrorists shelled Sumy region 21 times over the last day, 92 explosions were recorded. The attacks killed a 14-year-old child and wounded 13 civilians, including 7 children.

A 14-year-old boy died and 12 civilians were wounded as a result of an MLRS strike on the center of Hlukhiv in Sumy region. Residential buildings, a school, a shop and vehicles were damaged.

In Kharkiv region, 8 hostile attacks were recorded in different districts. 8 civilians were injured, private houses and a village club were damaged. Kupyansk and Chuhuiv districts suffered the most.

Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, Russian troops have lost approximately 572,300 personnel and 8,320 tanks.

Russian troops conducted 455 attacks on Zaporizhzhia region over the last day, including air strikes, 238 UAV attacks and artillery shelling. Residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged, but there were no civilian casualties.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to July 23, 2024, Russia lost 568,980 troops and a significant amount of equipment in Ukraine. In particular, 8288 tanks, 16000 armored vehicles and 15694 artillery systems were destroyed.
